THE VENUE
The 69th ICOMST Congress venue is strategically located a few steps from Padova Railway Station
Participants may access through two different entry points:

The main gate is located at Via Niccolò Tommaseo 59, pedestrian access only

Another gate is located in Via Goldoni (Gate C) for both pedestrian and car access.
Please note parking is free of charge for ICOMST 2023 participants during the Congress.
Both entrances will be marked by a signpost with the ICOMST 2023 logo.
Important!
The Congress Center gates will be closed for all on Wednesday, 23rd August, and outside Sessions time.
HOW TO GET
BY TRAIN
Padova can be easily reached by train. It is 2 hours from Milan, an hour and a half from Bologna and only 20 minutes from Venice and Vicenza. The train station is about 500 meters from the congress center.

From Padova train station to Padova Congress: 10 min walk
BY CAR
From the Milan-Venice (A4) highway, take the Padova Est exit then follow signs for the Fiera. From the Bologna-Padova (A13) highway, take the Padova Sud exit then follow signs for the Fiera.
The Congress Center offers ample parking facilities: in addition to the 1,400 spaces available on the exhibition grounds, there are 800 external spaces.

Distances within the City are small and taxi fares reasonable.
BY BUS
Tram Line and most bus lines stop at Padova Train Station. From here you can decide to have a 10 min walk or take a bus to Padova Congress:

BY PLANE TO PADOVA
Venice Marco Polo Airport (IATA: VCE, ICAO: LIPZ) is the international airport of Venice, Italy. It is located on the mainland near the village of Tessera, a Frazione of the comune of Venice located about 4.1 nautical miles (7.6 kilometres; 4.7 miles) east of Mestre (on the mainland) and around the same distance north of Venice proper. Marco Polo International Airport in Tessera, Venice, can be reached in about half an hour by highway.

GETTING AROUND PADOVA
Padova benefits from a wide and functional infrastructure and transport network to and from the city connecting it to the main cities in the north-east of Italy.
