THURSDAY | "GO YOUNG" Competition
The "Go-Young" Competition has been established to acknowledge and honour exceptional oral short presentations at the 69th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology.
The awards will be presented to young delegates (<32 years old) who demonstrate scientific excellence in both research novelty and presentation skills.
A total of 54 candidates submitted their applications, and a scientific panel has chosen the top 3 short papers for oral presentation during session 12.
Voting will take place at the conclusion of the congress session, on August 24th. Instructions will be accessible at the Congress venue.
The winners will be announced on August 24th, immediately after the voting.

Top Prize: Free publication of a scientific article in the Italian Journal of Animal Science
Runner-up: Publication of a scientific article in the Italian Journal of Animal Science at a 50% discount
Third place: Publication of a scientific article in the Italian Journal of Animal Science at a 50% discount

FRIDAY | Poster Competition
The Poster Competition has been established to acknowledge and honour the best posters at the 69th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology.
The awards will be presented to young delegates (<32 years old) who exhibit proficiency in scientific content, discussion of results, and graphical design (self-explanatory, clarity).
A total of 58 candidates submitted their applications, and a scientific panel will select the top 3 posters during the poster sessions. Candidates who are not present at their poster session will not be assessed.
The winners will be announced on August 25th, before the Closing Ceremony.
